I wasn't as happy with these as I had hoped. They are made out of a pretty stretchy material which I personally don't like with my jeans. I like a hard Jean material. the bottoms of them are really cute with the little slit and the button. The pockets are a bit funny and kinda stick out on the sides and I feel like it makes my hips look a bit bigger not much but a bit. I did have to return my first pair because they were to big. Which they returned them no problem. Then when I ordered my true size, they fit pretty good maybe a little bit on the to big size not enough that I personally would size down because I am not a fan of tight clothes. I have ridden horses in them and they seem to be comfortable to ride in and seem to hold up to that.Loved the look of these but I have thick thighs and small wast. Tight in thighs and rear area.So glad that I discovered Rod's Jeans! They are a relaxed cut to fit an adult woman, not just a size 2 teenager.I am 44 years old and 6 ft tall with curvy thighs. This poses a problem amid the modern fashion trend of "slim fit" and "skinny" jean styles. Ninety-five percent of jeans do not accomodate my waist and thigh shape, and finding a 36" inseam is even more difficult. I also work on a horse farm, which requires non-stop movement, so I need comfort.Thankfully, I found Rod's Western Wear on Pinterest...jeans designed for real women who throw hay bales, muck stalls, and ride. They fit like a glove!! Relaxed in the thighs, perfect mid-rise at the waist, just the right amount of stretch, and long length options. Also, Rod's jeans include an elastic band around the inside of the waist to prevent back-gap while in the saddle. And the price is under $50I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because the jeans aren't availble in a darker wash, two of the small rivets on the front pocket fell off during the first wash, and the denim is thin. Hopefully the jeans are durable over time. They also run large. I ordered a 15X36 and had to down-size all the way to an 11x36 for the correct fit. Rod needs to modify his size chart!Change input for measurements, might get right sizeCute pants but very baggy. The top pants are Lee regular fit bootcut 18/34.They are also stretch denim. Rod's are19/36. Maybe the baggyness gets better as you go down in size?? Definitely long enough for tall people, but I would call them more high rise then mid because of the elastic top. They need to give a better description. The fit is perfect, but the pockets need to be deeper and lay flatter. They have a wrinkle in them that keeps them from laying completely flat. Have 3 pair and they all do it, and no they are not that tight.I wear a 9/10 in wrangler Q-baby jeans. To compare the 2, these run larger and are made of a thinner and stretchier material. The waist band is nice and wide wile the wranglers, but are higher which I like. I am going to order a 7/8, as I really like the style and the button on the leg. Maybe I will ride in them in the summer, but not if we are going out in an area with a lot of mesquite. I would worry about them ripping…but on the plus side, they will be cooler to wear riding in the summer here in Arizona.First off I totally love these jeans. They fit perfectly. My only complaint is that they smell horrible. I’ve washed them 3 times so far and can’t get the smell out. Assuming it’s the chemical they use to bleach the denim. Hopefully it goes away after a while. Also they are made in China. Wasn’t expecting that.
