I need to lose about 5 lbs so these don't cut in the chub roll. They're meant to be mid-rise, and they are, I think higher is better for me. But, they're really quite comfortable unless I'm sitting for long periods leaning forward, then they start to dig.Also, these have a sort of ragged unfinished bottom. I think they're meant to be that way, like distressed jeans, but they're not distressed anywhere else.
