I'm wearing my new crop jeans as I type this review :) I previously bought the NYDJ walking short and loved that, and so I took a chance on the crop jean in the same dark enzyme wash. This time I ordered down a size (14) since I've lost a little weight, and they fit perfectly.These are hands-down the most flattering pants I've ever worn. They smooth out my "mom" belly and make me look a size smaller while still staying flexible and comfortable. I can also wear them all day without feeling like they've lost their shape and stretched out too much.I've only washed it once so far, but my walking shorts in the same enzyme wash color and fabric have lasted through over a year of washings and dryings with no fading or shrinking. So I think these will behave similarly.I am on a very limited budget and would not normally buy a pair of pants this expensive, but they were completely worth it. I'd rather have one pair of pants that's well-made and super flattering than have 4 pairs that are cheap and make me look pregnant. :-DI'm going to start saving up for another pair - maybe red this time :)Almost returned this item but decided to keep it since they went so fast a 10 would have fit better than the 8. Saying that the fabric is really nice and the color so cute for summer, just needed a little more give around the waist, BeckyThese jeans are as pictured. Fit as expected. I have ordered this brand before and fit is consistent. Has a fairly high rise. Shipped promptly. Not too tight around knees which is what I wanted. I did not want a legging look.Have at least six pairs of NYDJ pants, all of which fit well. Product description says to buy a size smaller. Ignored this and purchase usual size. Just about fits. Although this is a very nice-looking item, description says to buy a size smaller. Do not believe this. Go with your normal size and if that is variable, go with a size up. That instruction is extremely misleading..I am a 10 and picked the same size, (165lb, usually 30-31 on jeans). It is very comfortable and has enough room.I like how these fit. They only thing I don't like is they are not made in the USA like other NYDJ jeans. I wouldn't pay this much for crop jeans not made in the USA, you can find other brands cheaper.Cute but ba aware they are a bit high waisted. I’m keeping.I love them!! And the price was exceptional! I wear between a 10 and 12. I ordered 8 and they are perfect. They stay on my hips too. Size 10 is too big in the waist to stay up good.I love these pants-- wish they would make the same things full length.
